New Standard Reports - Student Equity Groups

We are pleased to announce the release of two new Student Equity Groups standard reports through the UQ Reportal.

 

These reports provide data comparisons across the university on the following student cohorts: Low SES, A&TSI, Regional/Remote, Disability, Non-English-Speaking Background, Female.

 

The reports display 5 Year Trend Equity data comparisons in both Summary format and split by Program Owner. The reports use data from the Student Official - 5 year trend dataset and have been designed to match the Federal Government reports that can be found on this website. As per the Federal Government Equity reports, these report only include Domestic students whose Permanent Country is Australia. Please note that whilst female students have been included in this report, they are not included in the Federal Government reports.

New Standard Reports – Universities Australia

We are pleased to announce the release of five new Universities Australia (UA) standard reports through the UQ Reportal.

 

The UA reports use the National Universities Australia dataset, which is based on the official full year data held by the Department of Education and Training. Access to the data has been provided to the universities on the basis that it will be used in accordance with the code of practice and as such it is important that information from these reports are not distributed to parties outside of UQ.

 

The reports have been developed to provide comparisons across universities in relation to a range of student measures within National Enrolments, National Enrolments – International Student Population, National Equity Performance Summary, National Student Load, National Student Completions.

Report Development - Course Enrolment Snapshot Reports (Semester 1 2020)

With Semester 1 about to start, student and academic admin staff are reminded that three course enrolment snapshot reports are available. The hey can be found in the Student - Admin - Enrolments folder..

 Each of these snapshot reports enable the tracking of course enrolments and withdrawals from one week to the next, relative to the ‘current’ and census weeks. Overview data may be useful with Program/course development, while student enrolment/withdrawal details may assist with student engagement and support.

National Staff and Student Data

The ‘National Data Universities Australia’ universe has been updated with new data (2014 data).

The universe includes:
Student Headcount
Student EFTSL
Student Completions
Staff Headcount
Staff FTE

The data can be analysed using a number of dimensions such as; year, state, institution, demographic objects, student course level and staff roles.

Please note, with the exception of the ‘Common Fields’, the dimensions within each folder are not compatible for use with dimensions from any other folder.

Historically, this universe has included student headcount data only.

Whilst there are no standard reports using this dataset, create access is available for staff on request. For access queries, please contact PBI Support (x52595).
